The employee-led Sustainability Team met on a monthly basis throughout the year and implemented a number of successful initiatives both relating to workplace and personal sustainability. The group focused on minimising the environmental footprint of the organisation through a change in energy suppliers and implementing targets to reduce printing and copying. We continued to focus on diversifying our sources of revenue to increase our resilience to external factors that might adversely impact on income. This approach maximises our ability to service the Landcare community, now and into the future. Through professional development of our people we began a process of upskilling and cross-skilling to increase the flexibility of our resources and where possible develop succession plans.
