Meet Adin Lang

As Partnership Manager we are almost playing a matchmaking service between corporate Australia and local communities. On one hand we strive to help corporates achieve their unique triple bottom line objectives. While on the other hand we’re looking for community projects that match the unique corporate objectives but importantly deliver real and tangible outcomes for that particular community and the environment as a whole.

What I enjoy most about working at Landcare Australia is
Because we’re a national organisation with local reach, I’ve been lucky enough to visit parts of Australia and meet communities that I would have otherwise not known existed.

I am most passionate about
Helping individual communities achieve goals that are most important to them.

What motivates me to wake up every day is
knowing that the work I’m doing today will result in helping to preserve and sustain our natural environment long after I’ve passed.

My life motto is
if it is to be, it’s up to me

Meet Alastair Jones

I am an Environmental Scientist whose work relates to the management of largescale restoration projects with our corporate and government partners, particularly under the 20 Million Trees Programme. I also work on the design of evidence based support tools to enable more robust and transparent environmental decision making.

What I enjoy most about working at Landcare Australia is
The Landcare community and the extensive body of knowledge that exists within the community

I am most passionate about
Environmental decision making. The evidence people use to make decisions and why, the consequences of poor uptake of science in decision making and the construction of tools to assist decision makers.

What motivates me to wake up every day is
That bit by bit Landcare’s restoration work is going someway to mitigate the ongoing environmental decline across Australia

My life motto is
Do more of what makes you happy

Meet Charlotte Blakey

I have been working on the Green Army Programme for almost two years. My current role involves managing the programme and supporting project planning to ensure the best possible environmental and community outcomes. I am lucky enough to visit Green Army projects across the country and see the positive impacts on the ground as well as the people involved.

What I enjoy most about working at Landcare Australia is
I enjoy being surrounded by people that care about the same things as me. Our work here allows us to care for the environment on a broader scale by encouraging and helping others to do the same.

I am most passionate about
looking out for the environment, whether it be by reducing my carbon footprint or unnecessary waste.

What motivates me to wake up every day is
coffee

My life motto is
you can’t change what you did today but you can change what you do tomorrow.
