Tessa Jakszewicz joined Landcare Australia as the Chief Executive Officer in 2013. She brings to the role senior management, marketing and business development experience from both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. As well as leading the Landcare Australia team, she promotes Landcare to government, business and the community.
She is a member of the Australian Government’s National Landcare Advisory Committee, a non-statutory body established by the Natural Heritage Ministerial Board, to advise the Ministers of Agriculture and Environment on the development and implementation of the National Landcare Programme.
Tessa also holds the position of Non-Executive Director of the Board of Hydro Tasmania, Australia’s largest renewable energy business and water manager.
Tessa has a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University, a Master of Science from the University of Bath and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Sheffield. She is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
