WIRES and Landcare Australia Join Forces To Support Communities Impacted By Bushfires With 1Million Grants Program
WIRES and Landcare Australia have announced a landmark $1million partnership supporting recovery of wildlife habitats impacted by bushfire and drought across Australia. Facilitated by unprecedented public appeals and donations, the WIRES Landcare Wildlife Relief and Recovery Grants will provide eligible local Landcare environment networks and community groups access to grant funding of up to $20,000 to maximise and coordinate restoration projects.

The Landcare Australia Bushfire Recovery Grants 2020 program will support landcare and community environmental groups and networks located in bushfire affected areas across Australia. The aim of the program is to support the urgent needs of the landcare community to restore essential wildlife habitat, shelterbelts and fences, protect our waterways, manage weeds and feral animals, work with Traditional Owner groups and run local community workshops, amongst other recovery activities.

2019 Coca-Cola Foundation and Landcare Australia Coastal Protection Grants
Since 2006, Coca-Cola Australia has partnered with Landcare Australia to provide funding from the global Coca-Cola Foundation for community projects significantly improving the health of local marine and coastal environments. And in 2019, for the second year in a row, the Coca-Cola Foundation and Landcare Australia Coastal Protection grants were awarded with grants up to $15,000 each distributed to eight projects across six participating states.
