Find A Group on the National Landcare Directory

The National Landcare Directory (NLD) is an online directory of community environmental ‘care’ groups across Australia who are working in their local community on environmental conservation and sustainable land management activities.

The NLD is a community led website where groups and organisations add their details and keep their information updated. There are thousands of landcare groups and other environmental groups across Australia, so this is a great starting point to find a group to join near you.  Please note, not all groups are published on the NLD but we are encouraging as many groups as possible to be listed in the directory.

From the coast to the country, and from urban cities to the outback, landcares greatest asset is its people. The landcare movement is diverse and encompasses farmers and farming systems groups, landholders, landcare groups and networks, Traditional Owners and First Nations organisations, Bushcare, Friends of groups, Coastcare, Dunecare and Rivercare groups, and other community groups involved in protecting, enhancing or restoring their local environment. It also includes Landcare facilitators and coordinators, young adult groups, researchers and academics, and organisations involved in natural resource management.
