Scouts Landcare Badge

Scouts Australia and Landcare Australia have a strong and long-running partnership, based on the common value of environmental sustainability.
Scouts can achieve a Landcare Badge by getting involved in environmental activities in their local community.

To be eligible for a Landcare Badge, scouts must do the following:

– Register to undertake the Landcare Badge with their local Scouts branch.
– Participate in any three nationally accredited environmental events, either supported or run by Landcare Australia. This could include Landcare Week, Planet Ark’s Tree Day, Keep Australia Beautiful or Clean Up Australia.
– Spend over 10 hours participating in the above events over a 12 month period.
Note: Scouts who are already members of a Landcare group only need to provide evidence they are regular volunteers or their membership to be awarded a Landcare badge.

For more information on how to get your Landcare Badge visit the Scouts Australia website or email environment@scouts.com.au.
