Capricorn Coast Landcare Group Mangrove Clean Up in Yeppoon 21st Feb

For anyone who is squeamish of the mangroves, it’s an interesting place filled with fascinating trees whose roots grow upwards to breathe, tiny crabs, & plenty of baby fish sheltering in the shallow waters. And of course, plenty of Man’s rubbish. This photo is of a litter hot-spot we’ll tackle at the next clean-up on February 21st. We’re meeting 7:45 am, at Appleton Park in Yeppoon. We welcome volunteers of all ages and levels of ability. Bring gumboots, a hat, sandfly repellent and water bottle.
