Landcare Week takes place from 4-10 September and this year we’re offering your employees the opportunity to get out of the office, get dirty – and get hands on with Landcare!
A series of Landcare Week corporate team events will take place across the country, and we’d love your business to be part of it. Registrations are now open for teams of between five and 20, but spaces are limited, so get in quick!
Getting hands on with Landcare provides your employees with a valuable opportunity to celebrate Landcare Week by making a real difference to the natural environment. It’s also a great chance to network with other businesses and get to know your colleagues outside of the office environment.
Each day will begin with a welcome and safety briefing before your team get stuck into some Landcare activities. We’ll provide both morning tea and a substantial lunch to keep the energy levels up. We’ll also have some fun activities to keep people engaged and each team will go home with a Landcare Week 2017 certificate, and maybe even an award!

Where is this happening?
Spend the day in the beautiful Adelaide Hills helping out the Sturt Upper Reaches Landcare Group by collecting local seed, weeding and planting to improve the habitat of the endangered Southern Brown Bandicoot.
Lend a helping hand on the shore of Lake Claremont with weeding and other activities to preserve and protect this important biodiversity hotspot classified as a Conservation Category Wetland and Bush Forever Site.
Spend the day overlooking beautiful Sydney Harbour, while you work with National Parks and Wildlife Service staff at Bradley’s Head, Sydney Harbour National Park. There is plenty to be done, from metal conservation to weeding and planting of native flora.
Work at Melbourne’s iconic Westgate Park with the Friends of Westgate Park, whose volunteers have rehabilitated the area into the biodiversity hotspot it is today. Prune weeds, spread much and plant trees.
How much does it cost and when do I need to book?
|A team of up to 5 volunteers||$1,100 plus GST|
|A team of between 6 and 10 volunteers||$2,000 plus GST|
|A team of between 11 and 20 volunteers||$3,800 plus GST|
