Gallagher Landcare Fencing Grants Now Open
The Gallagher Landcare Fencing Grants will fund up to 12 Australian fencing projects and are open to Landcare, Coastcare and Junior Landcare groups; individual landholders, farmers and graziers and volunteer-based community groups.
Eligible grant projects may include using Gallagher permanent or portable fence systems to subdivide paddocks for effective grazing or fence installation for conservation featuring greater efficiencies for land management.
These examples are some of the ways to share in an individual fencing project grant for up to $8000 (ex-GST) including fencing materials.
Applications are now open with the grants to include both monetary support and in-kind fencing. Recipients will receive funding for fencing projects, using Gallagher’s products and must show tangible environmental or sustainable agriculture outcomes.
Landcare Australia CEO, Dr Shane Norrish, said the grants were designed to develop high-quality projects with clear-cut outcomes. “These grants are providing much-needed financial and product support to conservation fencing and grazing management projects.”
The Gallagher Landcare Fencing Grants represent an expansion of Gallagher’s corporate partnership with Landcare Australia to increase the company’s efforts in demonstrating a commitment to local communities and the environment.
Grant submissions close on 31 May. For more information and to find out how to apply, visit https://landcareaustralia.org.au/gallaghergrants
