News Corp Australia has partnered with Landcare Australia to make a significant bushfire recovery donation to support two Landcare projects in Victoria and Queensland. These donations form part of News Corp Australia’s ongoing support for communities, individuals and wildlife affected by the 2019/2020 bushfires.  In the midst of the January bushfires, News Corp’s global headquarters announced a $5 million contribution to Australian bushfire relief to assist in the immediate response and ongoing investment in rebuilding the lives and livelihoods of those most affected. The funding will support Landcare Australia to enable Capricornia Catchments, as well as a partnership between Far East Victoria Landcare Network and East Gippsland Landcare Network to work with their stakeholders on bushfire restoration and revegetation activities to enhance habitat and improve biodiversity. Both projects will bring people together to collectively improve resilience and support the mental health of individuals and wellbeing of local communities.
