In 2024, Landcare Australia formed a partnership with Bupa to highlight the connection between human and planet health through the Bupa Healthy Cities Challenge and the establishment of the Bupa Landcare Grants program.

The Bupa Healthy Cities Challenge encourages Bupa’s people, community and corporate partners to adopt active lifestyle habits by getting moving any way they can during September to unlock investment into environmental projects through Landcare and other community and environmental groups.

Through the Bupa Landcare Project Fund program, the goal is to plant 75,000 native trees and shrubs across urban and peri-urban areas nationwide, enhancing both community wellbeing, environmental sustainability and promoting healthy active lifestyles.
