Register Group

Welcome to the National Landcare Directory. We invite you to register your landcare group or other environmental community group or organisation on the National Landcare Directory (NLD) for free so that people can find you to volunteer. Or so that people can find you with project funding opportunities – if you are not listed, we can’t contact you!

The NLD is a community led website where groups and organisations add their information. You can search for groups by suburb or postcode.

What you need to know before you register!

• You can choose your group segment – Landcare (includes Bushcare and ‘Friends of’, Rivercare, groups) Coastcare (includes Dunecare), First Nations, Young Adult (includes Intrepid Landcare, Co-Exist Australia), Junior Landcare (includes youth groups, Scouts, Guides), Farmers/Landholders, Plant Nursery, Community Garden, Other
• Also listed are environmental community groups who may not have ‘landcare’ in their group name, yet they carry out environmental conservation and sustainable land management activities
• If you do not have a physical address for your group, simply enter the nearest postcode and the State/Territory so your group will appear on the National Landcare Directory map.
• We encourage you to make your information public so people can find you. If you list your group as private, your contact details will not be displayed on the NLD map.
• When you register, if you are a landcare group, a community environmental group, or a Junior Landcare group, Landcare Australia will create a landcare ‘caring hands’ logo with your group name.
