Harvesting
Harvesting or removal of biomass (vegetation) is a restricted activity under the method. Restrictions include:
- Up to 10% of fallen timber may be removed from a CEA in one calendar year for personal use (not for sale or commercial purposes)
- Up to 20% of seeds can be harvested from a CEA in a calendar year for commercial or personal use.

Grazing
You may graze the project area to reduce weeds or to accommodate business operations. This can only occur if grazing does not affect the achievement of forest cover. The CER may request evidence to demonstrate this, so ensure you keep a record of the timing and intensity of grazing. We recommend that grazing is restricted during early stage tree growth (3-5 years) to allow trees to establish.

Thinning
If you need to thin the native forest for management or ecological purposes (e.g. fire control), this can affect carbon stocks. Again, keep a record of this for reporting.

Applying lime or fertiliser
Application of lime or fertiliser is not modelled in FullCAM, but may be useful to enhance your plantings. Always keep records of these, including the volume and area applied.
