Landcare Australia has partnered with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) to provide eight exclusive scholarships for individuals from landcare groups, community-led environmental organisations, and First Nations organisations.

About the course
Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors is a comprehensive 1.5-day face-to-face course that covers:
- Fundamental compliance and performance responsibilities for NFP directors
- Governance frameworks and best practices
- Risk management and financial oversight
- Strategic planning for not-for-profit organisations
There is no assessment component—just focused learning and practical insights you can apply immediately.

- Important: Enter “Landcare Australia” in the “Your Organisation” field so your application can be identified in the shortlisting process.
Selection process:
Applications will be reviewed by an independent assessment panel and ranked objectively. The eight highest-scoring Landcare Australia applicants will be awarded scholarships. Eligibility criteria are available on the application form and the Landcare Australia website.

The AICD Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors courses are held in every capital city. Scholars will get to choose a course in their state of residency if they are successful.
