ENGIE is focused on building the low carbon energy systems
of tomorrow and to reach net zero emissions by 2045.
In Australia, this is supported by flexible power
generation, energy management and supply as well as a pipeline of
projects, including hydrogen battery, and wind and solar.
As a new partner for Landcare Australia in 2025, ENGIE aims
to support the community with grants for local landcare projects that benefit
the environment.
In year one of this three-year partnership, the ENGIE
Landcare Community Grants have been awarded to fund a project that
supports resilience activities for water-starved Tarcowie, South
Australia, and a revegetation and habitat restoration project at Benalla,
Victoria. A third project in the Latrobe Valley, will provide community
engagement opportunities with a staff tree-planting volunteering
events which aim to protect waterways, strengthen wildlife corridors and
enhance biodiversity.
