Banrock Station Wines and Landcare Australia Project

Since 2021, Banrock Station has partnered with Landcare Australia to support conservation projects across South Australia. Through this partnership, Landcare Australia has been able to restore valuable natural assets and native habitats in South Australia, planting hundreds of thousands of trees and shrubs to benefit native wildlife and local communities.
Landcare Australia’s restoration team has managed planting projects across South Australia, enhancing landscape connectivity while supporting endangered and vulnerable species such as the Southern Hairy-Nosed Wombat and the Diamond Firetail.
Partnership impact data since 2021:
- 221 hectares of land revegetated
- 431,608 plants established
- 483 kilometres of direct seeding
- 45 local plant species utilised across project sites
- 25 community members engaged in Landcare projects
- 8 vegetation associations supported
