Share how you experience landcare, through your lens
Landcare Week is a national celebration of the Australians who actively restore, enhance and protect the natural environment in their local communities. This year for Landcare Week, we’re inviting people across the country to help tell this powerful story through Landcare Through the Lens – a national photo campaign capturing what landcare looks and feels like where you live.
Across Australia, people experience landcare in many ways. From caring for bushland, waterways and coastlines, to restoring landscapes and soils on farms, creating habitat for threatened species, learning from First Nations people or spending time outdoors with your community – every landcare experience tells a story.
Share a landcare photo and why it’s important to you
Submit a photo that reflects your personal experience of landcare and share why it is important to you (in 100 words or less). Your image will help us showcase the diverse ways Australians are caring for the environment in their local areas and inspire others to do the same.
Your chance to win for your group!
You’ll also have the chance to win $1,000 for your landcare group or community-led environmental group. Submissions close on Monday 31 August, and the winner will be announced on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
We can’t wait to experience landcare through your lens!
