Celebrating Landcare Week 2025:
Invitation to Share Your Landcare Photo
Bringing landcare to life through the click of a lens.
Landcare Week is all about celebrating Landcare Is For Everyone (L.I.F.E).
This year, in the buildup to Landcare Week, Landcare Australia together with the National Landcare Network and the State and Territory Landcare Organisations, are inviting landcare volunteers, landcare groups and members of the wider landcare community to submit a photo of what landcare means to them – from restoration projects, volunteers in action, sustainable agriculture, community spirit and stunning photos of our native fauna, flora and landscapes.
Submit a photo for your landcare group’s chance to win a Milwaukee Chainsaw to help with primary weed control.
Photo submissions will be used for non-commercial purposes in the campaign and promoted at various events, published in publications, and across social media channels – all to reinforce the Landcare Week 2025 theme – Landcare is For Everyone (L.I.F.E).
With your help, we can use the campaign ‘Landcare Through the Lens’ and Landcare Week 2025 to reach a wider audience. The campaign for photo submissions will close Friday 1 August 2025.

Looking for inspiration?
We’re looking to bring landcare to life through the click of a lens. We’re looking for that one special photograph that shows the essence of landcare. What does it mean to you? You can check out some of the submission here.
The heart of the landcare community is its social connections; show this with an image of volunteers deep in planting, weeding or even propagating some native seeds. Or perhaps having a breather, enjoying a well-deserved morning tea with friends.
Show what it means to be a landcarer. Can you capture in one photo the feeling of pride in seeing a landscape.
Celebrate the rich diversity of Australian native species. It’s possible your landcare group has aided in the conservation of an endangered species’ habitat. This could be an animal, plant or fungi. Showcase their beauty in one stunning image.
Let’s talk about the link between farming and the environment. Show how landowners, farmers, and landcarers are crucial to making landscapes that are both sustainable and good for improving biodiversity.
