Get hands on with Landcare during Landcare Week!

Happy Landcare Week 2017 to everyone involved in caring for our land and water!

This week – from 4–10 September – is the time for all Australians to come together and celebrate the efforts of the tens of thousands of volunteers who dedicate their valuable time to care for our treasured land, water, and native Aussie species.

Hundreds of Landcare groups across the country have organised events and activities to participate in the annual celebration. Check out our events calendar to see if there is an event near you!

A series of Landcare Week corporate team events are also taking place in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, with more than ten businesses getting their teams out of the office for the day, engaging in tree planting, weeding, metal conservation, mulching, and much more.

Landcare Week was created to celebrate our hardworking Landcarers who are fostering a better environmental future for all, growing our food, caring for our coastlines, and protecting our native animals.
