Building a better tomorrow at this year’s conference
This year’s National Landcare Conference and Awards to be hosted in Brisbane, is only 6 weeks away, from 10 to 11 October, and the program is promising to deliver a great line-up of engaging and thought-provoking presentations.
With the theme of ‘Building a Better Tomorrow’, Landcare Australia chief executive officer Dr Shane Norrish is looking forward to being part of this significant biennial event in the Landcare calendar.
“With each conference, the breadth and quality of presentations has led to more stimulating discussion and engagement with attendees and those that participate remotely,” Shane said.
“In putting together this year’s conference we’ve tried to ensure that the program reflects the interests of the multitude of groups and networks that make up the diverse Landcare community.
The many presentations showcase the range of projects being carried out by farmers, landholders and tens of thousands of volunteers, highlighting their successes and the emergent challenges faced across the country.
There’s sure to be something for everyone.”
