Fund Landcare: a new way for Coastcare groups to fundraise
Funding. It’s an issue all Coastcare groups face: wanting to do more to care for our marine and coastal environments but not having the financial resources to make these projects happen.
Landcare Australia wants to help Coastcare groups raise funds.
Introducing Fund Landcare.
Fund Landcare is a fundraising platform designed with the Coastcarer in mind. It allows Coastcare groups to create campaigns and raise funds using Landcare Australia’s DGS status.
Using Fund Landcare, groups will be able to:
- Set up crowdfunding pages to raise funds for particular projects.
- Set up fundraising events for groups and individuals.
- Set up fundraising challenges – this could be for groups and individuals who have created their own challenge or for groups and individual who want to take part in an exciting challenge, such as a running event.
Creating a campaign on Fund Landcare is easy and there are plenty of resources to assist groups including, how to set up a campaign and how to fundraise and maximise your asking strategy.
