August 2020 Landcare Australia CEO Message

Landcare is more important than ever before, thank you for your hard work and contribution to Landcare. Today marks the first day of Landcare Week, an annual campaign that takes place to acknowledge and celebrate the thousands of volunteers and groups across Australia who work all year round on conservation and sustainable land management projects.

Thank you to the Landcare facilitators; and to the corporate, philanthropic and government supporters who provide financial and in-kind support so that we can provide funding for quality, onground projects for thousands of Landcare projects.

Nominations are now open for the 2020 Bob Hawke Landcare Award, if you know of an individual who champions Landcare and the uptake of sustainable agricultural practices, I encourage you to nominate them for this prestigious award.
