Bob Hawke throws support behind Landcare

Australian media was abuzz earlier this month when a new beer and brewing company named after former Prime Minister, Bob Hawke, was launched.

A percentage of profits from the sales of the company’s first product, Hawke’s Lager, will go to Landcare Australia, which has entered into a partnership with Hawkes Brewing Co.  Mr Hawke has kindly passed on all of his royalties as donations to the grass-roots movement.

The partnership will result in funding for community Landcare projects and bring the Landcare brand to a new audience through the inclusion of the caring hands logo on cans of Hawke’s Lager, along with the continued marketing efforts of Hawke’s Brewing Co., which aims to generate even more positive exposure for Landcare.

Hawke’s Lager is currently on sale in a number of pub venues in Sydney and Newcastle, while tinnies are available from all Camperdown Cellars outlets in Sydney, before rolling out to the rest of the country throughout 2017.
