Bushlink Coastal Protection Project

Our friends at Bushlink have created a video about the fantastic work they have been undertaking with Northern Beaches Council at Freshwater and Dee Why Dunes.

Last year, Bushlink received a grant from Landcare Australia and The Coca-Cola Foundation to fund coastal protection and marine debris removal projects that improve the health and quality of local marine and coastal environments.

Projects that focus on the reduction of marine litter, the protection and enhancement of coastal zones, and increasing community awareness of the effects of marine pollution and litter on the marine environment.

Bushlink is a project that provides people living with disabilities the opportunity to be employed on environmental projects. Operated by Northside Enterprise Incorporated, the project aims to enhance wellbeing while improving the environment and helping the community.
