You’re invited to our very first National Landcare Conference webinar

To whet your appetite, ahead of next year’s rescheduled National Landcare Conference, we’re kicking off a special series of webinars on October 1st.

We’ve joined up with some fantastic Landcarers from around the country, and put together a series of webinars based on the four conference themes: Sustainable agriculture; Environment & Climate Change; Community Partnerships in Action, and Landcare Impact.

Our first in the series will take place on Thursday, October 1st at 2pm (AEST). From the Community Partnerships in Action conference stream, it will include a presentation from Victorian-based Kim Boswell about a simple, yet effective method of volunteer recruitment.

Have you ever found it easy to recruit volunteers for an event, only to never see them again once the last tree has been planted?

Jam-packed with hot tips and fresh ideas, Kim Boswell will present a framework used to recruit thousands of Landcare volunteers in Victoria. The step-by-step ‘5A method’ supports groups to recruit and retain perfectly matched and energised volunteers and fill committee positions. She’ll also discuss utilising volunteers in a post-Covid world.

So don’t wait until August 2021 to tap into the expertise of the Landcare community. Register today for our first National Landcare Conference webinar – Recruiting and Engaging Volunteers!

Our National Landcare Conference webinar series will be run through the Landcarer online community platform. Check out www.landcarer.com.au for more information and to join the online community.
