How to Start a Group Resource

Anyone can start a group! If you’re unsure where to begin, first check if there’s already a group in your area on the National Landcare Directory. You may want to contact your local council, Landcare peak body, natural resource management agency to connect with them and learn about the work they are doing and how you could work together.

How To Film Your Landcare Project

Sharing the impact of your project visually can inspire support from volunteers and potential funders. It is also fantastic content for social media! You don’t need fancy equipment – just a mobile phone and some enthusiasm.

We have created a tutorial with our film producer Matt, who explains all about the best angles, shots, content, sound and graphics. When you are done, share your film clip on your social media channels and don’t forget to tag us @LandcareAustralia and publish on Landcarer.

Wear the Brand

Landcarers can show their support for the landcare movement by wearing branded merchandise. It also helps the public see the great impact volunteers make in the local community.

Landcare Australia has a relationship with a merchandise supplier who sells Landcare, Coastcare and Junior Landcare branded caps. Landcare Australia does not make a profit on the sale of the product.
